Greetings to All:

On behalf of the Young Adult Department, I graciously extend greetings to all of my fellow doorkeepers.  I'd like to congratulate the department on a successful 40th year celebratioin as we look forward to many more years to come.  As the bridge between the Senior and Junior & Young Peoples Departments, our aim is to be the Bridge That Can't Be Broken and produce the soon to be leaders of our organization.

The following goals have been set for our department during the 2009 - 10 year:

• Strengthen our current officers with frequent training throughout the year;
• Create an Outreach committee within our department to increase our involvement in the communities around us;
• Utilize our national website to disseminate information regarding our department;
• Aid each other across the states and regions in our recruitment efforts;
• Promote unity and fellowship within the department.

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and encouragement.  I believe that we have a committed team of elected and appointed officers that will make this a successful year for our department as well as a memorable convention when we convene for our 91st convention in St. Louis, Missouri.
