The National United
Church Ushers Association
of America, Inc.
(NUCUAA) School of
Ushering Manual is written
for Church Ushers that
dedicate their services to
the Ministry of Church
Ushering each Sunday and
during special weekly
programs and funerals.
The Ministry of Church Ushering is a sacred and powerful responsibility. In order to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Church Ushering, a Church Usher must first and foremost be a Christian. Church Ushers must be Christ-like with a spirit of meekness and humility. Also, Church Ushers must be well-trained in all aspects of the techniques of Church Ushering. A well -trained Church Usher is one that can master situations that may come up during a Church service.
